Pneumatix supplies rotary screw air compressors and compressed-air equipment in Australia. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can access or correct it. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect
Information you give us. When you submit an enquiry through this website we ask for your name, business name, email address, phone number, postcode, and state or territory. We also ask which product you are enquiring about, the name of your existing Pneumatix dealer if you have one, and your message.
If you ask us to help size a compressor, we also ask about your application type, current compressor, required pressure, the air-consuming equipment you run, how many people use air at once, whether three-phase power is available, and whether you already have a receiver or dryer. These questions are optional.
We ask for this information so we can answer your enquiry and refer you to an appropriate dealer. If you do not provide it we may not be able to help you.
Information collected automatically. When you visit this website we collect standard technical information including your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how long you spend on them, and the site or search that referred you.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, refer you to a Pneumatix dealer or approved service provider, provide product documentation, sizing guidance and technical support, keep a record of enquiries and the advice we gave, and understand how the website is used so we can improve it.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use enquiry details to send marketing unless you separately ask us to.
Who we share it with
Dealers and approved service providers. If your enquiry needs a local supplier, installer or service agent, we pass your enquiry details to the appropriate dealer or approved service provider so they can contact you. This is the main reason we collect your details.
Service providers who operate this website. Cloudflare (website delivery and security), Mailgun (delivery of enquiry notification emails), Microsoft 365 and Proofpoint (our email hosting and filtering), Google Analytics and Jetpack (website usage measurement).
Overseas disclosure. Some of these providers store or process data outside Australia, principally in the United States. By submitting an enquiry you consent to your information being disclosed to these providers.
We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect our legal rights.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, remember your preferences, and measure how the site is used through Google Analytics and Jetpack. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.
How we store and protect it
Enquiries are stored in this website's database on a private server and are also sent to us by email. Access is limited to people who need it to answer enquiries. We take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including encrypted connections across the whole site and restricted administrator access. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for five years from the date of your enquiry. This allows us to answer the enquiry, support any resulting sale, installation or warranty claim, and meet our record-keeping obligations. After five years we delete or de-identify them.
Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email service@pneumatix.com.au or call 1800 342 224. We will respond within a reasonable period, normally 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request.
Complaints
If you think we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first at service@pneumatix.com.au and we will investigate. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.

We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top.
