Base Mounts provide the compressor without an integrated receiver-mounted package. The receiver, refrigerated dryer and filtration are selected separately to suit the system layout and application.
Base Mounts are compressor-only. Air receiver, refrigerated dryer, inline filtration and distribution components are not included as standard.

What a Base Mount actually is
It is the same compressor. A PM10 Base Mount and a PM10 Total Air Station are one cabinet: same air end, same permanent-magnet motor, same variable-speed controller, same 1,000 L/min at 8 bar and the same 10 bar ceiling. The Base Mount sits on rubber feet instead of a receiver, and is supplied without the dryer and filters.
That matters when you are comparing. You are not choosing a lesser machine, you are choosing where the storage and treatment live.
When a Base Mount is the right call

What still has to be specified
A Base Mount is not a complete compressed-air system on its own. At minimum it needs an air receiver sized to the demand pattern, drying appropriate to the application, and filtration to suit the equipment downstream. Pipework, condensate management and the electrical supply all still apply. Complete the compressed-air system
A Base Mount is the compressor section of the system. Receiver capacity, refrigerated drying and filtration can then be selected separately around the required air demand, available space and application.
